Road fatalities for the Waikato Region
A sobering thought..... A total of 61 fatalities have occurred on NZ roads in 2011 as at midnight on Monday 21 March. 16 of these, which amounts to just over a quarter, happened in the Waikato Region.
Amongst the dead were:-
- 13 males
- 6 people between 16 – 22 years (5 males)
- Ages ranging from 2 - 87 years
- 7 people killed by another driver/rider
