- Regional road safety stakeholders are advocating for a lowering of the legal blood alcohol concentration for driving to 50mg alcohol / 100ml blood for adult drivers. Under the current legislation people are legally permitted to drive whilst alcohol impaired.

- Plan your ride home before you go out
- Dial-a-driver
- Take a taxi
- Text your parents to let them know you need a ride home
- Never accept a ride from a driver who has been drinking - reduce your risk
